Dear Santa/Easter Bunny/Tooth Fairy/etc.,
Here is the positions I want on draft weekend in no particular order,
Offensive Line-We need help on the line. We have our franchise left tackle and now it is time to build around Long. The line was also a big reason as to why our running game stalled.
Running Back-Brown and Williams are both free agents and only one or none are likely to be back, leaving Hilliard, Cobbs(maybe),and Sheets. I think with the free agency question marks, we better be safe and draft one.
Quarterback-Henne might not be the guy but we will surely find out this year. We need to start grooming a QB though in any event.
Tight End-We need another Tight end to pair with Anthony Fasano. He worked best in 2008 while paired with David Martin. Time to find Fasano another tandem.
M. Linebacker-Dansby needs another dependable linebacker to go into battle alongside him. Crowder is just okay but we need a hard hitter and reliable player here.
This blog is an interactive blog so I gathered some opinions around the blog for everyone to read and enjoy. Here they are from our fellow posters,
"Well,
In my Opinion, especially with how incredibly CRAPPY the QB class is, I think that Oline is our number 1 priority. I would suggest that means interior, but actually, unless Vern Carey can improve ALOT, it could mean RT as well.
RB is of course going to be a question mark, but I am a firm believer that the best RB in the world is nothing without his line...unless he is Barry Sanders..and he isnt in this draft
I also think that MLB is a key area of need. Its not a secret to anybody that I view Clowing Chowder as a TERRIBLE MLB, and it wouldnt take much to upgrade him. We already have a situational player in Edds, but another thumper to help free up Dansby would be ideal.
I also think we need a burner at WR, but I think that isfar down the wish list.
A seem busting TE would help everybody else as well."
Just my :2cents:

"I think O-line has to be a priority because unless we have a strong front five that are consistent we will be in the same boat as last year. It all starts up front. "

"Yes, offensive line. I would like to see 2 interior linemen, or one tackle to move Carey to the interior if that's the way it breaks for us. We need an ILB to potentially make this defense elite. A guy that can cover on the pass as well as play the run so he can stay on the field. Doesn't have to be a superstar IMO, but consistent. While on the defensive side I'd like to grab a safety, but that can wait until we get our linemen and a running back, as we don;t know what FA holds for us. Pass catching TE is another priority, but if I had to hope we got 4 good players contributing right away, I would hope they are the 2 linemen, the ILB and the running back."

"If I had to pick ONE position Miami has to fix it would be the O-line, followed closely by another pass rusher on defense(multiple if possible). God forbid, but if Wake were to go down with an injury, where is our pass-rush coming from?"

"Quarterback."

"I stopped really reading on it since the lock out, but I would say an upgrade at QB. They need to bring in a lot more competition. RB and offensive line are right there as well."

"It depends. I think our biggest area of need at the moment is RB. Not knowing what is going on with R&R (plus age/injury) has me leaning towards RB first, then we need to focus on OL in a big way. There's also the need of a speed WR, speed TE and pass rusher. We have ALOT of holes IMO, but we need to take pressure off of Henne first via RB and OL."
