But if the Patriots are so awesome they don't need to cheat, then why were they cheating in Week 1? ...nor is it what the NFL should be marketing to the young.

Something I find somewhat interesting is that the Finsiders are Official Miami Dolphins Media - Is this a way to reach out to players before Free Agency starts to express interest?

Good question Padre. I think it just makes for interesting stuff for us fans to watch, which is the goal of any media. In this case, with the connection between Philbin and Jennings, and with Jennings reaching out a bit there, I believe it just happened on Jennings' own accord.
I think in most cases the FA's would not want to tip their hand and lose any negotiating leverage so I would say Finsiders is probably not really intending for this to happen much. They are just putting on players that are of interest to us.
But you never know!

I think they were talking all year about Driver retiring. It hurts our chances a bit, but they knew that already, and they are receiver rich and need to retain Aaron Rogers etc., this year don't they? I know they have some big contracts to work out. Maybe it was Clay Matthews or another star.

The feeling up here in Cheeseland is he will not be back. The Pack feels they have great depth and do not need to resign a 30 year old WR for big money. They will be focused on O-line, HB and defense IMO. He will be a treasure for the right team.

Also he has his house on the market. It was on the banner @ [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] . I personally do not think he will bring huge money. He will get maybe around $6 million a year. Maybe some guaranteed.
