It's just a formality. He is the next guard in line if one of the AFC guards cannot make it due to participating in the Super Bowl. Tomorrow, eitehr the cheatriots or the Ravens will be on their way, meaning Logan Mankins, or Marshal Yanda will be unavailable. So now we have 3 guys in. Not that that makes the game worth watching, but it's nice.

But if the Patriots are so awesome they don't need to cheat, then why were they cheating in Week 1? ...nor is it what the NFL should be marketing to the young.

3 isn't too shabby, though it would be nice to see a few more, but I can live with 3 and the idea that we're building a pretty solid core that can give us a greater number pretty soon.
