You make a normal sig,then you use the rectangle tool and make a box(one per layer) after outlining the box you go to edit-stroke 3pix with foreground color then change colors and repeat this time with 2 pix and then change the color again and repeat with one pix,Then deselect make a new layer and repeat.You use the eraser tool to erase where the underneath box shows in the upper box. Once all you boxes and layers are done you merge all the layers with boxes and use the magic wand to select the area in between,Then you erase that part on all the lower layers.

It takes awhile the first few times till you get the hang of it.

LOL That was my intent when I started it.I know the first ones were not great but I had no idea what I was doing and it was still fun.I have read a lot and done many more now and they are getting a more polished look,along with more style.

No I didnt take it badly,I actually took it as a nice compliment.I am a serious insomniac so I started playing with it to pass the time.I put the thread up more to track my progress and I am glad that people look at it and enjoy what I have been doing.

I have not talked to bruzer most of what I have learned has been from google searches and trading links with Nicky Napoleon. I did find the brush sets at Deviant art and that is where most of mine have come from.I may have to hit Bruzer up and see if he knows any more

When I do borders I make a new layer then hit cntl a then edit/stroke go three pixels on black,then switch color to grey then edit/stroke again this time with a 2 pixle then back to balck edit/stroke one more time and 1pix. Then I move that right below the color balance layer and the grey changes to whatever color you added on the color balance,I also think beveling the frame layer gives it a nice look

I do the same thing when i do the multi border sigs except i use the rectangular marquee tool instead of control a,but all the steps after that are the same.

And no problem at all I am always happy to share what I know
