At SS, I'd take Pokey over Cabrera, but I can't because they were both on the same WS winning team last year.

At closer, your boy isn't as good as Everyday Eddie, so we won't compare the two until K-Rod proves he's a closer.

At RF, Vlad and Ichiro. 2 different kind of players, and great arms. Who won the Gold Glove in RF? Do some research and find out.

At CF, Garret Anderson is better than Reed because Reed is like a rookie.

At LF, I dunno who it is because Guillen is gone... But for now, Winn is a good outfielder and has a good average..

At 2B, Boone and Soriano are the best 2B's in baseball, so no comment here.

And at C, the Molina's are good, so you are stronger there.

Bartolo Colon-VERY Overrated, he was statistically the worst pitcher in the 1st half of last season...
Kelvim Escobar-A pretty good pitcher, but had an average record and yet another not good 1st half of the season
Jarrod Washburn-What a bum, this guy is a poor man's Jamie Moyer. I can still remember Ortiz taking him out for lunch... Big Papi...
Paul Byrd-This guy jumps to more teams than Jose Canseco, and if the Braves don't need him...
John Lackey-Eh, a 5th starter, not much to say...

This rotation is pretty average, check Sportline and ESPN.com and they say the same thing. Pitching is not one of this team's strong points, and good pitching ALWAYS beats good hitting. We'll see how good the Halos are in 2005...

Because that's just it. Seems like you don't understand baseball kid, but let me help you. We have argubably the best defense in baseball. This makes the pitching better consequently.

And our pitching is going to improve. Usually, Jamie Moyer has good seasons after average ones. Madritsch is a good pitcher, he came in last season and did real well. Meche will have a better year as well. And as I said before, the Angels pitching is just as average.

. Maybe if you understood baseball. I'm not a homer, I just understand when a team makes good changes and could improve with a new skipper in Mike Hargrove...

And our pitching is going to improve. Usually, Jamie Moyer has good seasons after average ones. Madritsch is a good pitcher, he came in last season and did real well. Meche will have a better year as well. And as I said before, the Angels pitching is just as average.

Ummm, it's not like our defense was bad last year. Also, our pitching really isn't that great. This team isn't going to be the team it was 4 years ago. Last time I checked, our best starter from then is gone. Moyer is old (although I do think he can still pitch) and it isn't like the rest of the rotation is amazing.

Last year we got a career year out of Ichiro and were terrible. We made two bigtime additions, but neither Beltre or Sexson are guarantees. I never really liked the Sexson signing in the first place, and as for Beltre, are we going to get the 2004 Beltre or the pre-2004 Beltre? I like the signing of Beltre a lot, but we have to hope that he isn't a one year wonder. If he is, we're fucked.

Overall, we just aren't that strong. Yes, our defense is good, and yes, that will help us prevent runs from being scored, but it isn't like our defense sucked last year and our starting pitching isn't that great. Also, I would say the Angels overall are a better hitting team than us. I would love to be a believer in the 2005 Mariners, but I don't think we are going to be as phenominal as you expect us to be.

Ice, slow down bro. Our D was pretty bad last year. I don't know what games you were watching. Miguel Olivo had a lot of past balls, and Spezio was HORRID. Winn made some errors in CF, and Boone wasn't his usual self, although he won a Gold Glove still. Aurilia and Bloomquist stunk at short, and Jose Lopez made plenty of rookie mistakes. Again, check your facts.

Second, our pitching will in fact improve. It's been quoted that the pitcher's had to almost make perfect pitches because the run support was awful. Our starting closer is back. Rafael Soriano is back. Jeff Nelson is back. The pitching will improve.

The offense will be good. Beltre is 25, he's starting to get in his prime. Richie Sexson had 2 45 HR seasons before last when he was hurt. He said he feels well, and so do the doctors. Boone will improve as he won't have to do everything like last season. Ichiro won't have 262 hits probably, but who says he can't hit .350+? Ibanez hit .300 last season with 16 HR's and he was hurt a lot.

Looks like everything the 2 homers of baseball, Phin & Rod, said are coming true eh Finnn?

I thought our pitching sucked? We had an era of 5.38 the first 8 games and an era of 2.67 the last 18 games. This stat is from before yesterday's game so obviously our ERA is even better now. We struck Ichiro out twice. I guess you didn't know that the pitcher you call horrible (Lackey) has pitched Ichiro better than anyone else in baseball. The same man that got Ichiro to go 0-5 just last year. You know that's remarkable.

I'll give you Paul Byrd for now. He seems to be a dissapointment. However, who knows, he might come around. Playing well is contagious. As is playing bad, you should see that now.

I warned you about overhyping Beltre. I know the season isn't over, but he won't get much better. He played 8 years in the Dodgers organization and had ONE good year. Had 2 other decent years. I"m from L.A. Finnn I told you this. However, you insisted on calling me a Homer.

Phin warned you about Sexton. I myself only knew he was old. Phin warned you. Yet you called him a Homer.

I feel it is time you reevaluate what you call people. Or what opinions to respect. I love baseball just as much as football. Mostly I like that I'm actually able to watch the damn games or listen to them on radio.

Sexson, I'm not so disappointed in him. He has more HR's than anyone on the Angels, and he is a gold glove 1B. So yeah, he's not a bust..

I'm more disappointed in not taking advantage of the fact that in no way are the Angels dominant. They have many regulars hitting under .200, and the pitching is not Cy Young worthy.

But Beltre is a bust, and I dislike our pitching staff, except Moyer who is consistent.
