The National Football League Players Association suspended two agents for a year: Jerome Stanley for failing to file the paperwork needed to make wide receiver Dennis Northcutt a free agent and Neil Cornrich for testifying as an expert witness against the estate of a former player.
Cornrich was disciplined for working as an expert witness for General Motors Corp. last year after the world's biggest automaker was sued by the estate of former player Derrick Thomas. Cornrich was paid $1,000 an hour for testifying.
